Choosing a drape style for your wedding events can be intimidating! Between the heavy fabrics, and choosing a flattering drape that shows off your outfit and allows you to dance the night away it’s a lot to think about! A few things I’ve learned over the course of 10 years doing bridal glam, is that the drape has to be tight and comfortable! I use heavy diaper pins to hold the outfit and pleats together and have been sticking a few extras into the bridal touch up kits each bride gets on their wedding day!

The designer of your outfit may have a few suggestions about how to drape the dupatta for the outfit. But visuals are also helpful. I’ve developed this Pinterest board specifically for draping inspo so that you have a quick reference guide for flattering styles!
