Beauty as a Form of Empowerment
I didn’t even try to edit the circles and bags under my eyes because it’s important for all of you to know a few things:
1. What you see on social media isn’t always reality. We are all beautifully flawed. Embrace those lovely flaws and accept them for the purpose they serve in your life.
2. My bags and circles are genetic, but I make them 110 percent worse by not sleeping. Building my empire with no knowledge of how the beauty and fashion industry works or a business background is a rollercoaster ride but I wouldn’t change it for the world.
3. Don’t let other people’s perceptions of you or what you want to do, deter you from following your dreams. Be flexible and keep chasing them. No one will work harder for you than you.
4. I am an outpatient therapist when I’m not doing makeup or modeling. I have no fancy sponsors or investors for my business. I know what I want so I’m building it myself with my other career which I’ve established simultaneously with this business. Multitasking is your best friend.
